RF Venue has introduced the CP Stage antenna, designed to mount directly to microphone stands, making it suitable for touring bands and fly packs. Its IP-rated weather resistance also supports fixed outdoor installations when wall-mounted.
Circularly polarized, or “CP,” antennas have been widely used by monitor engineers and RF technicians for years, with RF Venue’s CP Beam antenna a common choice on tours worldwide. Unlike the single-plane orientation of traditional “paddle” or “fin” antennas, CP antennas transmit and receive signals in a 360-degree, corkscrew-like pattern. This helps mitigate issues with the orientation of wireless IEM bodypack receivers and handheld microphone transmitters, regardless of a performer’s movement or position on stage.
With an operating range of 470 to 928 MHz, the CP Stage supports performance across global frequencies. It has a compact 10-by-12-by-1-inch footprint and a matte black finish designed to remain unobtrusive on stage.
