We’re sad to report the news that this earlier week Jay Hitz, who worked for years at Extron and who many of you knew, passed away unexpectedly at his home in California. In product news, Sharp’s new 8K display, introduced this past year, is now shipping. There’s also news from Audinate, which has a new Dante dongle, and a new first Dante product from Sonifex, as well as new projectors from Optoma, Sony and Epson.
