Does RTFM (Read the Frickin’ Manual) still apply if the “manual” is just made up of stick figures simulating putting together the product, and no longer has any actual words to read? In his column today, Joel Rollins laments the rise of Twitter and the demise of language.

When you hear the term 4K, you probably think resolution. But 4K has another value that you may not have realized — 4x the resolution is also 4x the pixel density. In his column today, Gary Kayye talks about how the pixel density of 4K can be really valuable to rooms designed for conferencing and collaboration and could change the way rooms for certain applications are designed.

We also have news from BlueDog, Hitachi, TASCAM, Stealth Acoustic and others. And if you haven’t checked out our Integrate coverage yet, be sure to take a look at our MicroSite here. Even though most think of it as a regional show, since it’s in Australia, there were some major product introductions and previews there that you shouldn’t miss. Enjoy the issue!
