A favorite for film, television, and theatrical applications, the new detachable connectors address the company’s single most common request: to enable the B6 to quickly and easily switch between different brands of transmitters, recorders, and other audio equipment.

With professional audio’s most comprehensive range of connector options, the new detachable connectors span more than 400 models of equipment from AKG, Shure, Sennheiser, Lectrosonics, Sony, Wisycom, and many additional equipment manufacturers. In the process of developing the new detachable connectors for the B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier microphone, Countryman’s engineering team completely reviewed and revised their circuits to ensure maximum B6 microphone performance with each system. Each connector is designed to resist radio frequency interference and the mechanical elements are built tough to survive the rigors of professional use.
