Userful has introduced Infinity EdgeAI, an edge-native cognitive intelligence solution designed for mission-critical workplace applications. Co-developed with Microsoft, the platform shifts operations from reactive monitoring to proactive, insight-driven decision-making across operations centers, factory floors and other high-stakes environments.
Infinity EdgeAI is built to continuously monitor multiple streams of operational data, detect anomalies and instantly link decision makers to source information. By providing real-time, actionable insights, the system supports faster and more resilient responses in network, emergency and security operations centers.
“Mission-critical environments today face an exponential increase in both the volume and complexity of data generated across their operations,” said John Marshall, CEO of Userful. “Infinity EdgeAI brings real-time cognitive intelligence to the edge, enabling teams to detect issues earlier, understand them faster and act decisively.”
The solution builds on the Userful Infinity platform and leverages Microsoft Azure IoT Edge. The architecture allows for multimodal workloads, local decision-making and ultra-low-latency processing, even in isolated or air-gapped environments. Key components include containerized EdgeAI modules, an Infinity application to configure and operationalize AI agents, and a uControl console where operators can view alerts, insights and workflows in real time.
Unlike cloud-first systems, which often face latency, cost and compliance limitations, Infinity EdgeAI is designed to keep data on-premises. This approach preserves sovereignty while enabling instant processing and analysis.
Userful said the Infinity EdgeAI application will be available in early 2026 through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, where the company is a recognized Microsoft Independent Software Vendor partner. The solution will also be showcased at industry events later this year, including GSX in New Orleans, IMARC in Australia, Smart Digital Ports of the Future in the Netherlands, and the Banking Transformation Summit in North Carolina.
