URC Adds Integration of Pentair Pool and Spa Control

URC just launched a two-way IP module for Total Control of Pentair’s IntelliTouch Pool and Spa Control System. The module, available today to authorized URC installers via URC’s dealer portal, allows homeowners using any URC Total Control interface to control all Pentair Pool and Spa products that work with Pentair’s IntelliTouch system, including pool pumps, cleaners, heaters, pool lights and water features.

To make connectivity between the two systems, a Pentair i-Link Home Automation Protocol Interface Adapter is required. Using the URC Accelerator or TC Flex programming software, authorized dealers can also program macros with device events, status queries and set modes (e.g., “party mode,” “romance mode,” “sunset mode,” etc.) for easy one-button activation of multiple operations from a URC Total Control 2.0 controller.  Sold only through direct dealers, Total Control 2.0 is URC’s whole-home automation and control system, featuring customizable GUIs and third-party integration.
