Starin to Host Fundraiser at InfoComm 2022

Starin, with the help of DTEN, is raising funds for Silver State Service Dogs of Nevada to donate a service animal to a military veteran or first responder at InfoComm 2022.

“Service dogs are life-changing companions for those in need — whether they’re service members with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or those who suffer from physical disabilities,” said Malissa Dillman, CTS-D, CTS-I, Starin’s director of business strategy and alliances. “#StarinCares wants to help alleviate the financial burden for someone that’s in need right now.”

According to Dillman, service dogs are highly trained, cost $20,000 – $30,000 each and insurance companies will not fund these “indispensable helpers and loyal companions”.

InfoComm 2022 attendees can interact with service dogs to aid with their socialization training at the show in Booth W1903.
