Shure Adds New Line of MicroFlex Loudspeakers: In-Ceiling, Pendant, Wall-Mount and an Amplifier

shure microflex ecosystem expansion

Shure announced the expansion of its Microflex Ecosystem portfolio with a lineup of passive loudspeakers and a new networked amplifier. Designed specifically for conference rooms, the new Microflex (MX) Loudspeakers offer premium audio quality, flexibility for customization, straightforward installation and seamless interoperability.

The expanded MX Loudspeaker range includes four new passive speakers — ceiling and wall-mounted — as well as a networked conferencing amplifier, joining Shure’s existing networked loudspeaker MXN5W-C. With other Microflex Ecosystem devices, customers now have a complete solution that includes microphones, digital signal processing (DSP), and loudspeakers, all working seamlessly to deliver unmatched performance, security and installation efficiency.

As part of the Microflex Ecosystem, Microflex Loudspeakers are supported by standards-based security protocols to manage access and protect data including 802.1x, and AES encryption for control when connected to the MXN-AMP. This allows IT managers to use similar security protocols that they use for other networked endpoints, creating a streamlined workflow across AV systems.

Shure’s new loudspeaker portfolio includes a networked conferencing amplifier and four passive loudspeakers that can fit aesthetically in any room:

Customers can integrate MX Loudspeakers with Designer 6, Shure’s configuration software, to design, deploy and commission installations. For remote management and control of the devices, AV professionals can connect with ShureCloud, Shure’s cloud-enabled centralized management platform.
