Rants and rAVes — Episode 550: InfoComm’s CEO and Integrated Systems Event’s MD Comment on Samsung’s Purchase of Harman

On Tuesday, we posted a podcast with CEDIA’s (high-end HomeAV association) CEO Vin Bruno, and today we bring you the industry’s only podcast with InfoComm’s CEO, Dave Labuskes, and Integrated Systems Events Managing Director, Mike Blackman. Dave and Mike represent two of the most important ProAV shows on the planet (InfoComm and ISE) and, in Mike’s case, he has a view from the HomeAV world since ISE also is partly residential technology, too.

And, ISE’s biggest exhibitor both financially and size happens to be Samsung.

They have a different perspective on Samsung s $8 Billion acquisition of Harman than CEDIA’s Bruno had but the three gentlemen are in alignment that this deal will eventually bring good things to AV.
