Panasonic Entertainment & Communication has appointed Caroline Niedzwiecki as director of sales for its professional video and audio systems division. In this role, she will oversee the company’s portfolio of pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ), studio and box cameras, camcorders, media production tools, audio products and the KAIROS live video production platform.
Niedzwiecki brings more than 25 years of experience in the professional audiovisual and media and entertainment industries. She most recently served as general manager and vice president at Disguise, where she led sales operations across North and South America. Prior to that, she was vice president of global sales at BirdDog and held a senior leadership role at NewTek (now part of Vizrt), where she spent nearly a decade expanding sales across North America and EMEA and supported the launch of NDI products.
Earlier in her career, she held roles at Avid Technology Inc. and was involved with SVGW, formerly the Women’s Sports Media Initiative, a group supporting women in sports media production.
“Panasonic’s commitment to delivering glass-to-glass solutions allows its customers to fundamentally enhance the way people work, live, and experience live events,” Niedzwiecki said in a statement. “The company’s mission resonates with my passion for leveraging technology to deliver meaningful experiences. I’m excited to work with Panasonic’s high-performing sales team as the broadcast industry continues to undergo rapid transformation and becomes more reliant on scalable, interoperable technology to meet consumer demands.”
In her new role, Niedzwiecki will focus on customer and partner relationships across markets including corporate, higher education, house of worship, broadcast, sports and live events.
