Opus Technologies will make its InfoComm debut in 2025 with Aura by Opus, a new assistive listening system based on Bluetooth Auracast technology.
Built on Bluetooth LE Audio, Auracast enables audio to be broadcast to an unlimited number of compatible receivers, including hearing aids, headphones and earbuds. The system is designed to enhance the listening experience in public spaces for people who are hearing impaired.
Aura by Opus allows users to select an Auracast stream from their mobile device, receiving the audio signal directly, similar to how Wi-Fi works. The technology supports multilingual audio and descriptive content, offering accessibility for both hearing and visually impaired users.
