
The dual core video engine combines an HQV Vida VHD 1900 video processor core for upscaling all inputs to 1080p using the Marvel Qdeo processor, which can also upscale to four times that resolution (4K) for digital sources.
Features on both receivers include InstaPrevue and MHL (Mobile High Definition Link) technologies DTS Neo:X, Dolby Pro Logic IIz and Audyssey DSX audio processing, eight HDMI inputs (one front, and seven rear) two outputs, Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity, a rear-panel and front panel USB port. They have list prices of $999 for the TX-NR717 and $1,999 for the TX-NR818.
