Exertis Almo says it continues to lead efforts in expanding the role of distribution to include market and technology expertise, AV services, localized networking, and education. During AVIXA’s InfoComm 2024, taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center June 12-14, 2024, Exertis Almo is centered on building relationships, educating the industry on the benefits of neurodiversity and philanthropic activity with organizations that support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) and sustainability.

Dan Smith reflected on his first full year as executive vice president of Exertis Almo.

“We continue to refine our expertise and offerings based on market direction and integrator needs. As technology evolves and becomes more complex, the role of distribution has become more critical than ever before,” he said. “As market enablers, Exertis Almo is laser-focused on helping its partners grow and stay profitable with the top technology, as well as technical experts, AV services, industry-specific education and localized networking opportunities.”

“At InfoComm, we are celebrating our passion for giving back to organizations that focus on topics that are crucial to our industry, such as DE&I and sustainability. And we’ll have multiple opportunities to come to the booth to socialize and build relationships – because at the heart of it all, it’s the relationships with our partners and peers that lead to the greatest success and help propel our industry forward,” he said.

As part of its commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I), Rob Voorhees, business development manager, technical specialist and a newly inducted member of SCN’s 2024 Class of The Nine, is presenting the sold out session, “Autism and AV: Furthering the Discussion to Unlock Abilities.”

On Thursday, June 13 at 10 a.m., Voorhees is discussing how to further the conversation about neurodiversity in AV to maximize employee skill levels and attract a more diverse customer base. This session includes his personal experience as the parent of a neurodivergent daughter and the process of helping her navigate her way through school and, soon enough, into her professional career.

Exertis Almo says it continues to find ways to support and give back to the AV industry and in alignment with Almo Corporation outreach efforts, specifically focused on DE&I and sustainability. This year, Exertis Almo is supporting the following organizations:
