AVI-SPL officially opened their NY Metro Office in Lyndhurst, New Jersey today and rAVe was there to cover the launch event!

The 20,000 square foot facility supports around 100 employees across sales, support, finance, project and fabrication teams. Not only is the office home to conference rooms, open-office seating, executive offices and a lobby gathering area, it also includes an event space, a fabrication/quality assurance workshop and a 13,000 square foot warehouse.

Partner products can also be found throughout the office. In the conference room, Salamander Designs, Crestron, Mersive, Poly, Newline and other products are integrated to create the seamless meeting experience customers crave. Upon entering the lobby, visitors are immediately presented with a NanoLumens NIXEL Series curved LED display and AVI-SPL’s vision statement.

LG Business Solutions has 30 or so displays present in the office – I caught up with Roy Bauer and Jennifer Ferrie of LG to talk about the AVI-SPL partnership. “It’s important to us that our partners at AVI-SPL are comfortable supporting LG products and the best way to do that is to have them in their space,” shared Roy. Jennifer continued, “The abundance of product here in Lyndhurst reinforces the strong relationship between LG and AVI-SPL.”

“Our preferred partners are an integral part of our work so we were pleased to incorporate their products into our office space,” shared Al Ayulo.

Another large focus for AVI-SPL when creating the office space is the focus on employee success. In what has been coined the “hallway of fame,” an LG 86BH5C display with employee pictures and quotes sits across from project features.

As the office supports business throughout the New York/New Jersey area and beyond, the fabrication and quality assurance workshop fills a critical role. Projects are assembled, QA tested and moved right into the attached warehouse to be shipped to the site. See pictures of the fabrication and QA workshop below in the embedded tweets from the event.

The afternoon-long event to celebrate the NY Metro Office grand opening featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, office tours, food trucks, live music and more. Lyndhurst, New Jersey Mayor Robert B. Giangeruso, Meadowlands Chamber representatives, customers, partners and family and friends all joined in for the fun.
