Amadeus Acoustics announced a new Q-SYS plugin integration. As a contributor to the Q-SYS Ecosystem, the plugin is part of Amadeus’s suite of integrated solutions that enable users to locate, track, and distribute both virtual and real sound sources. Depending on the channel count and installed components, an Amadeus system can accommodate multiple inputs and outputs, with full control and monitoring of sound sources — including their shape, size and precise positioning.
Available now via the Q-SYS Asset Manager — the app store for Q-SYS Cores — the free Amadeus Acoustics plugin provides tools for managing acoustic presets, volume (including mute), and the positions of 3D audio inputs. Users can also save 3D source positions and presets as snapshots.
The Amadeus solutions and the Q-SYS plugin are fully synchronized, enabling real-time display of active presets and system status. The plugin supports up to 100 acoustic presets and 64 3D source positions, offering detailed control over X, Y, Z coordinates, shape, and panning algorithms — all of which can be saved to Q-SYS snapshots.
