Acurus just showed its integrated surround processor ecosystem that integrates its new room correction solution called ASPEQT.
Combined with Acurus amplifier offerings, the 2RU M8, and the Class A/B A2000 Series, the Acurus ecosystem is a self-contained Home Cinema solution. This new processor ecosystem, with its easy-to-use setup and added room calibration via ASPEQT, meets the demands of modern home environments, whether medium-to-large immersive home cinemas or multipurpose media rooms.
The Acurus Muse is a native 16-channel processor specifically designed to meet the requirements of multipurpose immersive audio decoding and post-processing around the home. It provides customers with a $5,500 (U.S. retail) upgradeable sound processing solution with full-support for 4K UHD/HDR, HDMI 2.1 hardware, and ASPEQT room calibration, all built into a sleek, compact 2U form-factor. The Muse decodes a host of immersive surround formats, such as DTS:X and 15.1 native Dolby Atmos, and is supported by a wide range of third-party control drivers, TCP/IP two-way, and a web-control interface.
The Acurus ACT 4, at $12,000 (U.S. retail), offers an expanded set of speaker layouts up to 11.3.6, more inputs including a phono stage, integrated ASPEQT support, and an expanded UI.
