HAYWARD, CA – June 4, 2021 –  OnQ, a leading manufacturer of custom retail displays, today announced that Stuart (Stu) Armstrong has joined the company’s board of directors. The appointment – which became effective June 1st – marks the first time someone from outside the company has been recruited to join the board.

Stu has an extensive background in the retail space, dating back to the 1980’s when he helped bring about mass adoption of the industry’s very first computerized planogram system. Over the subsequent four decades he held leadership roles at a range of companies serving the retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) spaces, focused primarily on shopper engagement technologies and category management best practices at retail. In the early-2000’s he served as president of the Digital Screenmedia Association, while also serving as president and chief revenue officer of ComQi for over a decade.
