Wisycom announced two new wireless products designed for live event and large venue applications: the Portable RF-over-Fiber Box and the MTP61 XL multiband bodypack transmitter.

The Portable RF-over-Fiber Box provides a compact, field-ready solution for transporting RF signals where coaxial cable is impractical or would introduce excessive signal loss. It is available as a two-channel transmitter with isofrequency-over-fiber or a diversity receiver with two independent channels. The unit operates over single-mode fiber to deliver signal integrity across extended runs with minimal degradation.

The device’s wide dynamic range and low-noise design aim to ensure clear, interference-free performance in congested RF environments. It can operate on both battery and mains power, and features a temperature-controlled fan and rugged construction for dependable operation under harsh conditions.

Wisycom also introduced the MTP61 XL, a new version of its miniature MTP61 bodypack transmitter. The XL adds only 7 millimeters of depth but doubles battery life, delivering more than 19 hours at 10 mW, 16 hours at 50 mW and nearly 15 hours at 100 mW with recording enabled.

The transmitter maintains Wisycom’s wide tuning range and linear technology for intermodulation-free frequency planning. It also features a rugged, splash-resistant housing, waterproof magnetic connector and Bluetooth monitoring and control via Wisycom Manager or mobile apps. Existing MTP61 users can upgrade to XL performance by replacing the battery lid and using the new XL battery.
