Yesterday’s news that BroadSign had declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy came as a surprise to some but not to others.

Not only was BroadSign a major player in the DS market for years and a front-and-center manufacturer hanging out at the entrance of the show floor for the past few years, but they have been (and are this year) a major show sponsor – their logo appears on all the digital signage around the show floor, the training room signage and wayfinding signage, too. But, their booth sits lonely and empty this morning.
