THE #1 AV NEWS PUBLICATION. PERIOD.

What Happened to ProAV Magazine?

While we were at CEDIA, we “officially” got word from the ProAV magazine publisher that they were going to start publishing bi-monthly (every other month).  We sort of thought something was up as there were some combined months earlier this year, but now it’s official.  You may have seen our Tweet from the CEDIA show when we got the news.  Soon after, ProAV’s Editor, Brad Grimes, sent me an e-mail telling me we Tweeted “3-month old news” as they had made that “announcement” at InfoComm.

Either way, I am bummed.  Although I write for Sound & Communications magazine, I always thought ProAV’s print publication was well written and covered some great application stories.  The in-depth coverage of how things are done in an install and why it was done that way always interested me as I’m a tech-geek at heart.

I realized I was going to miss that – even if I still get it 6-times a year.

So, I’ve decided to hire who I think is their best writer (besides Brad) – Linda Frembes!  I am excited to have her on board writing forrAVe and you’ll love her in-depth style, viewpoints and her fresh perspective on the ProAV and HomeAV markets…
