What You Need to Know About Virtual Production

As evidenced at InfoComm 2022, virtual production is quickly becoming a popular topic for AV professionals. On July 19 at 2 p.m. ET, Megan A. Dutta will be joined by virtual production experts Akintayo Adewole, creative technologist at DRKR PXLS, and Anji Corley, Vū’s head of academic and workforce development, to discuss the fundamentals of this emerging market.

“While virtual production has become a hot topic for some spaces, it’s still being defined for others,” said Adewole. “It’s been a game-changer for broadcast, film and animation workflows — but not as evidently for corporate AV applications. I think the benefits for corporate start with a conversation around creating and facilitating multi-dimensional content in a context that gets us closer to more intuitive engagements with our communications. I believe the virtual production toolset can help us do that.”

“I’m incredibly excited to be a part of LAVNCH & LEARN to discuss all of the great work Vū is doing to invest back in the communities near our studios,” said Corley. “Training and educating are at the forefront of our mission and look forward to sharing Vū’s technology, future and mission with the audience.”
