Waves Audio has introduced the eMotion LV1 Classic, a compact live mixing console featuring 64 stereo channels and 44 stereo buses. Designed for live sound professionals, the LV1 Classic includes 16 onboard Waves Signature Preamps and comes equipped with Waves processing tools, all housed in a hardware mixing desk.

The console is powered by a double-precision 32-bit floating point mix engine, supporting sample rates from 44.1 kHz to 96 kHz. The onboard preamps feature discrete analog circuits and offer both transparent and harmonically enhanced sound. Additional I/O expansion is available via the Waves IONIC stageboxes, which also include the Signature Preamps.

The LV1 Classic includes a 21.5-inch multi-touch screen, 17 newly designed 100mm faders and a customizable user interface. The layout is designed to be accessible for both professionals and volunteers, with quick access to key functions and support for user-defined actions and views.

Included are 16 built-in Waves processors such as:

• F6 Dynamic EQ
• Waves Tune Real-Time for vocal pitch correction
• X-FDBK and PSE for feedback and mic bleed control
• Additional plugins like eMo D5/F2/Q4, H-Delay, R-Comp, Magma and more

Each input and output channel supports up to eight plugin inserts, and processing is handled by an internal Waves DSP engine, with optional expansion available.

The LV1 Classic is compatible with Waves’ full portfolio of more than 160 live-optimized plugins, including analog emulations (SSL, API, Abbey Road), Dugan auto-mixing and surgical or creative processing options.

The console also supports the eMo IEM plugin, allowing immersive in-ear monitor mixes without additional hardware or routing. Performers can control their mixes via the MyMon mobile app.

Weighing just 38 lbs (17.2 kg) and measuring 15.8 x 22.1 x 22 inches (402 x 561 x 560 mm), the LV1 Classic is portable enough for commercial flights and well-suited for space-limited environments.
