Vu Technologies Debuts with 40”, 55” and 65” LCDs with Built-in PCs
Although you may never have heard of them, a company called Vu Technology is aiming at the home entertainment and digital signage markets with three LED-lit LCD monitors with built-in PCs — a 40”, a 55” and a 65”. Obviously all three can be connected to a network wirelessly or wired, and the 1920×1080 resolution displays claim a 500 nit brightness spec and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio (take that with a grain of salt). Use them at your own risk as we’ve never seen them live.
