Vivitek has launched two new projects as part of its DU7000Z laser projector series, including the DU7295Z and the DU7098Z. The DU7295Z is spec’d at 9,000 lumens with a WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution, while the DU7098Z provides 7,000 lumens at the same resolution. Both are maintenance-free laser projectors, are specified to display Rec. 709 color space capacity and HDR support as well as having a DICOM Simulation mode for X-ray imaging. Like all Vivitek solutions, the DU7000Z series has a fully sealed optical engine and is spec’d to last 20,000 hours.

The DU7000Z series has an HDBaseT input (for video, audio and control), an HDMI and a DisplayPort input. Installation is helped by having seven choices of optional lenses, ranging from 0.78 to 5:1 throw ratio — all with manual lens shift and four-corner correction we well as horizontal and vertical keystone correction. And, the entire DU7000Z series is natively compatible with Vivitek’s NovoConnect Solution of wireless presentation and collaboration products.
