Vivitek announced the new D6000Z Series of WUXGA large-venue laser projectors made up of the DU6198Z and the DU6298Z, both single-chip DLP that uses a laser light source. Built to deliver a brightness of 8,500 and 10,000 ANSI Lumens respectively, they include Vivitek’s new color technology, multiple modes of operation and High Dynamic Range (HDR10) support with a 3,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 95% of the color gamut of Rec.709.

They are also available with nine motorized lenses with Lens Positioning Memory (LPS) to cater to any installation requirement, along with the ability to display the image in portrait mode. They also have the ability to project from any angle in 360-degree projection operation and projection design for creative installations.

The D6000Z Series has been designed to support the HDBaseT interface for the distribution of HD video and digital audio content over a standard Cat5e/6 LAN cable. Connectivity and collaboration between the D6000Z Series and other devices are built-in via Vivitek’s NovoConnect (NC-X300) or Digital Signage NovoDS Series (NovoDS-4K).

Both models support “Over Temperature” protection for a safe operation. It comes as standard with a Keypad lock, a security lock and a robust Kensington Security Lock. Like all Vivitek projectors, the D6000Z Series has been designed for up to 30,000hrs of operation by the Natural Air-Cooling System. This increases the stability of thermal dissipation but also offers users an extended projector life and low maintenance costs.
