VigilLink announced today that it had joined the Software Defined Video over Ethernet (SDVoE) Alliance as a contributing member. As a contributing member, VigilLink “reinforces its commitment to delivering innovative and advanced AV solutions to its customers.” VigilLink will collaborate with other leading companies to advance the SDVoE standard and drive the adoption of Ethernet to transport AV signals in professional AV environments.

SDVoE technology delivers “high-quality, low-latency, and scalable AV networked environments over Ethernet.” With the SDVoE standard, audio and video signals can be transmitted over Ethernet with zero latency, making it “ideal for applications that require real-time, high-quality video and audio.” The SDVoE Alliance’s standardization of Ethernet transport for AV signals allows for interoperability, flexibility and ease of use, making it an “ideal solution for many professional AV applications.”

“We welcome VigilLink to the SDVoE Alliance and are thrilled to have their expertise and innovative solutions as a part of our community,” said Justin Kennington, president of the SDVoE Alliance. “VigilLink’s commitment to providing advanced audio and video solutions aligns perfectly with the goals of the SDVoE Alliance, and we look forward to their contributions to our efforts.”

With this membership, VigilLink continues demonstrating its commitment to providing advanced audio and video solutions to the professional AV market. The company’s innovative solutions, combined with its membership in the SDVoE Alliance, position VigilLink as a leading provider of audio and video solutions for the professional AV market.
