Videotel Digital Makes Their Flagship industrial grade HD2600 XD Looping DVD Player Even Better With the HD2600 XD+

SAN DIEGO JULY 29, 2019

Announcing the launch of the HD2600 XD+ Videotel Digital ups the ante on a product that’s already in demand. Their newest industrial grade DVD player is the second generation of the sought-after HD2600 XD. The “new and improved” version, has hardware and firmware upgrades that strengthen the media player’s use across multiple industries. As is usually a trademark of any Videotel Digital product, the HD2600 XD+ is nothing short of convenience in one auto looping wonder built for 24/7 use.

Lisa Schneider, the VP of Marketing & Sales for Videotel Digital, said of the newly redesigned digital media player, “When we decide to make one of our best-selling products even better, we’re careful to take our customers’ feedback and integrate it into the new design. Thanks to our creative R & D team, the first generation of this product was such a hit. And, thanks to our customers, it was obvious we could bring even more strong points to the second version.”

Keeping in step with technology across numerous platforms, timely firmware updates include an improved ability to autoplay more DVD titles. This functionality is especially helpful when playing movie titles from online streaming sites like Netflix and Swank. Little things have been taken into consideration too. Now, instead of two power modes, the HD2600 XD+ has three. They include on, off, and standby. Moreover, with time savings in mind, volume settings will now be saved after a power loss as will all other setting options.

Doing a bit of housekeeping, Videotel Digital has fixed what customers have called the “black screen” that appeared during the playback of five to ten percent of all DVDs. They have also integrated a three-step process to resolve paused or pixelated video playback due to scratched DVDs. Now customers can simply auto scan forward, then auto next chapter, and finally auto reboot.

One convenient hardware change included in the new HD2600 XD+ is an improved button panel sensitivity. Additionally, now there is no need to switch between output options as all HDMI, Composite, Component, and Stereo Audio RCAs are active.
