Vanco International announced it is shipping the in-room powered subwoofers from its Beale Street Audio brand. The BPS-65 and BPS-80 deliver bass to even constricted spaces due to Beale Street Audio’s patented Sonic Vortex technology.

The Beale Street Audio in-room subwoofers are engineered with solid wood cabinets wrapped in a black matte finish. Under the hood, a black cloth magnetic grill conceals the Kevlar woofer (6.5-inch for the BPS-65 and 8-inch for the BPS-80), plus butyl rubber surround providing bass that brings balanced sound even when listeners are off-axis.

Both models feature a 220-watt built-in amplifier compatible with 110/220 volts, 4-ohm impedance and 90-dB sensitivity. Onboard inputs and controls include Stereo and Mono Audio Line Level (RCA), Stereo Speaker Level and Passthrough, Audio Sensing, LFE and adjustable Phase Settings/Subwoofer Crossover Frequency. The BPS-65 has a frequency response of 38 hertz – 300 hertz, and the larger BPS-80 has a frequency response of 28 Hz – 300 Hz.

Beale Street Audio’s new custom Pendant Speaker Enclosures are also available now. These allow installers to integrate virtually any Beale Street Audio speaker with patented Sonic Vortex technology into pendants, for open-ceiling and exposed environments. IP65-rated, the Pendant Speaker Enclosures are water, weather and UV-resistant, making them ideal for either indoor or outdoor installations. The enclosures are available in two different sizes to fit 4-inch, 6.5-inch and 8-inch Beale Street Audio speakers with either a white or black paintable enclosure and grill to allow for custom color-matching in any space.
