Vanco has released two new Beale Street Audio pre-amps featuring 8×8 matrixing and built-in digital signal processing (DSP), aimed at commercial AV applications such as sports bars, meeting spaces and multi-room venues.

The BAMX88 Audio Matrix Processor with DSP and the BAMX88-ARC Audio Matrix Processor with DSP and Audio Return Channel (ARC) both include features such as adaptive echo cancellation (AEC), adaptive noise suppression (ANS), and support for 48V phantom power across all analog inputs.

Each model offers DSP capabilities including high-pass and low-pass filtering, auto-mixing, limiters and an 8-band graphic EQ. Volume, bass, treble and mute controls are also included. Both units support IR, RS-232, IP, and GPIO control for integration into various system environments.

The BAMX88 includes eight balanced/unbalanced analog inputs and outputs, making it suited for mic-heavy analog environments such as houses of worship, conference rooms or multi-zone audio setups.

The BAMX88-ARC includes a hybrid input/output structure: four analog I/Os, two optical I/Os and two ARC I/Os. This unit is designed for commercial systems integrating smart displays, streaming sources, and digital audio with analog components.
