Universal AV Earns SDVoE Certified Design House Designation
The SDVoE Alliance announced that Universal AV has been designated as the latest SDVoE Certified Design House. This certification highlights Universal AV’s “commitment to delivering innovative audiovisual solutions and enhancing user experiences through the utilization of SDVoE-based technology across various technological landscapes.”
With many manufacturers now providing AV-over-IP equipment, the landscape of audiovisual integration is increasingly diverse. While brand-specific products are prevalent, Universal AV excels in curating a range of products from different manufacturers to meet the unique design and budgetary needs of each client. This approach ensures the best possible outcomes for every project. As a result, the SDVoE Alliance provides Universal AV with the ability to select interoperable solutions, ensuring the best product for each function. This approach unites various solutions on a single, scalable platform.
“Audiovisual solutions and technology are becoming increasingly intertwined with IT,” said Chris Gardner, technical director for Universal AV. “As AV integrators, we must evolve accordingly, becoming highly proficient in both AV and IT technologies and understanding how they complement each other. It’s vital that our team is trained and possesses expertise in AV-over-IP technology, which we obtained through the SDVoE Certified Design House program. As a recognized SDVoE Design House, we believe this provides our clients with confidence that we are at the forefront of SDVoE adoption in the AV industry.”
“The SDVoE Certified Design House program recognizes leaders in the integration industry who demonstrate exceptional expertise in SDVoE systems,” said Stephane Tremblay, president of the SDVoE Alliance. “We are thrilled to welcome Universal AV as the latest member of this distinguished group, and we look forward to seeing the innovative systems they will continue to deliver to their customers.”
The SDVoE Certified Design House program is an extension of the SDVoE Certified Design Partner initiative and is available online. It recognizes experts in designing SDVoE systems that leverage the scalability and performance benefits of AV-over-IP. To earn this prestigious certification, companies must ensure that at least 25% of their technical staff hold the SDVoE Certified Design Partner certification, demonstrating their comprehensive knowledge and skills in the field.
