tvONE and Green Hippo Both Debut New Media Servers — One for Live Events and One for Installs
tvONE just launched the MX Series of Hippotizer Media Servers and a 1RU version of the CALICO PRO video processor. The CALICO PRO uses 10-bit video processing to maintain a 4K signal path across two outputs and can literally display hundreds of low latency 4K video windows on both outputs. It’s designed for ProAV installs like video windowing, command and control centers, security data center monitoring, etc.
The new Hippotizer MX Series is for live events also provides 10-bit video processing and supports the broadcast standard for AV-over-IP (SMPTE 2110 and IPMX) workflows and creates a giant digital canvas of video that can be spread across multiple screens and outputs.
