tvONE is shipping its new video processing solution, CALICO PRO. CALICO PRO is is designed as a video wall processor for dvLED walls but, it’s basically a giant digital video canvas — so content can be sent anywhere and everywhere in a room, projection mapped across a building, on multiple displays at a live event or be the video server for hyflex learning and meeting environments. This is because any content can be added from any source across all outputs. CALICO PRO is being aimed at every AV market including Corporate, Live Events, Stadiums & Arenas, Higher Education, Public Venues, Broadcast and Control Rooms.

CALICO PRO is built upon tvONE’s patented fifth generation 4K/8K, 10-bit video processing engine and is housed within a 2RU enclosure. It’s basically a video server delivering hundreds of video layers across four huge canvases. A single CALICO PRO canvas can deliver a Direct View LED solution up to 64,000 pixels wide and up to 64,000 pixels high across multiple outputs; for example even sending video content to an arena-based LED ribbon and scoreboards — at the same time.

CALICO PRO includes the CALICO Studio setup and control software and features include Output Mapper, which can separate and reposition pieces of an LED display in a real-world view, source cropping, allowing easy manipulation of multiple crops from the same or separate sources, and full output flexibility. Other advanced features include an enhanced labelling engine, free source and output rotation, keying, dissolves and many more.
