RCF’s (booth 6061 / demo room W221DE) flagship TT+ Audio has launched the GTS 16C, a high-performance cardioid subwoofer engineered for demanding touring and installation environments. Delivering focused low-frequency output with maximum control, the GTS 16C is designed to meet the needs of sound professionals seeking powerful, directional bass reproduction.

The GTS 16C houses a 16″ neodymium front woofer and 14″ neodymium rear woofer in a durable, polyurea-coated plywood enclosure. With a maximum SPL of 137 dB, the subwoofer’s active cardioid design leverages TT+ Audio’s DSP technology for precise rear wave cancellation and improved clarity across a broad frequency range. This design reduces unwanted low-end bleed on stage and in reverberant spaces.

Optimized for use with the GTX 7C compact line array, the GTS 16C includes compatible suspension hardware for both flown and ground-stacked setups. Dual SpeakON STXX IP54-rated connectors ensure secure connectivity, while up to six GTS 16C units can be driven by a single XPS 16K amplifier.

“In developing the GTS 16C, we wanted to offer sound designers the ultimate tool for controlling low-end energy without sacrificing output or clarity,” said Tarik Solangi, RCF USA National Sales Manager, TT+ Audio.
