Tripleplay enhances IPTV encryption support for Sky Bright Box
London, UK, 17/04/2019: Tripleplay has announced that its platform now offers compatibility for the Sky Bright Box, the technology behind Sky Select, which delivers amazing HD entertainment across hotels from one centralised HD system, ensuring end-to-end encryption for Sky’s world-class TV content for its IPTV and Interactive IPTV Portal solution.
Sky Business and Tripleplay have worked closely together to ensure robust standards are maintained for delivery of broadcast content via an IP Network, using the Sky Bright Box and Tripleplay’s IPTV Portal Solution.
Dr. Peter Martin, chief technical officer is delighted to officially strengthen Tripleplay’s relationship with Sky Business, “We have built our platform based upon content security and encryption, understanding the concerns and urgency of both to a content rights owner such as Sky. This latest integration allows us to deliver fully encrypted SKY broadcast content to our Interactive IPTV Portal solution, satisfying our clients and ensuring our technology partners have additional peace of mind.”
Sky Business’s Head of Product, Andy Kydd added, “The Sky Bright Box makes it easier for customers to access our world-class HD content portfolio. Working with key industry platforms such as Tripleplay has become integral to ensure we give as many customers as possible access to our premium, high definition content. Ensuring access, choice and security is of paramount importance to us, so we’re delighted that Tripleplay clients will now benefit from this development.”
Sky Bright Box support will be available on the Tripleplay platform via Samsung and LG Hospitality Smart TVs.
