TRIAS bolsters its relationship with Christie

php4FD275PMWokingham, UK – (15th April 2014) – Christie®, a global audiovisual technologies company, is pleased to announce an agreement with TRIAS Group, Christie’s primary rental and event-staging partner in Poland. TRIAS has purchased eight Christie Roadster HD14K-M 3-chip DLP® projectors in a deal worth more than $330,000 (1 million PLN).

TRIAS has over 15 years of experience in event engineering, new technology and integration systems. The company is responsible for multimedia and lighting design for the biggest events in Poland, therefore it chose to support the purchase of these M Series projectors with 3 sets of optics, 3D upgrades and active stereo emitters. These enable TRIAS to offer 3D stereo capability to its existing customers in concerts, festivals, TV and Film production.

TRIAS has played a key role in producing some of the largest corporate events, advertising and political campaigns, and religious celebrations in Poland – amongst them: the Heineken Opener Festival, and the Orange Warsaw Festival.

A Christie Partner for the last eight years, TRIAS’ inventory holds a number of Christie Pro-AV staging solutions with a broad range of performance, choice and price for its customers – from 6,000 to 33,000 ANSI lumens, and a compliment of video processing, video content management and routing hardware, including two Christie Spyder X20-1608 systems. These are in addition to a plethora of rigging, lighting and multimedia support systems that one would expect from a leading event-staging company.

In February 2014 TRIAS prepared 3D video mapping for the facade of the new railway terminus in Krakow, using Christie Roadster HD14K-Ms and a Christie Spyder X20. Christie featured again at the “Bestsellers of Empik” Gala in Warsaw, one of the most important cultural award ceremonies in Poland, where the event used only Christie Pro-AV systems.

Grzegorz Kuć, sales director at TRIAS, said, “Trust is key to our business. We have a long-standing relationship with Christie because we trust in the quality, reliability and performance of Christie’s products, which are supported by a free exchange of knowledge and experience between TRIAS and Christie technicians and engineers. This trust extends to our customers, who evaluate our work by the reaction of thousands of participants who attend the events we support. The margin between failure and success is very small indeed, and over many years and through many successful events we have established a reputation as a brand to be relied on.”

Adil Zerouali, Christie regional sales director, Eastern Europe & Russia, commented, “TRIAS is regarded as one of the most innovative and capable staging companies in Europe, so I take some pride in the knowledge that these experts in Pro-AV continue to invest in the Christie brand to protect and grow their business. I’m also confident that together TRIAS and Christie will share the very best audio and visual experiences with audiences across Poland.”
