Trailblazer Zone: Introducing Parker Group at InfoComm 2024
This year, InfoComm 2024 will shine a spotlight on first-time exhibitors by adding them to a special section on the show floor, the “Trailblazers Zone.” This section of the trade show features new exhibitors who have undergone a thorough vetting process. According to the InfoComm site, these exhibitors demonstrate innovation, offer unique or compelling value propositions and address the business challenges and objectives that attendees are looking to solve. In this series, we’ve interviewed several exhibitors in the Trailblazers Zone that we think you should check out.
Introducing Parker Group
What will you be featuring on the show floor?
“Parker Group will be showcasing our flagship AV-over-IP solution, AVenue. AVenue is uniquely designed for mission-critical environments, offering synchronous recording, DVR controls and playback of high-definition audio and video in real-time. We’re excited to show how AVenue seamlessly integrates with other systems through our partnerships with VuWall and LG Electronics.”
Why are you exhibiting at InfoComm this year?
“After attending InfoComm last year, we knew 2024 would be our year to exhibit. We are excited to bring AVenue’s offerings to new businesses and enterprises. We truly believe that AV-over-IP is the next step in the evolution of control room technology. Along with seeing what new progress is being made within the industry, we believe it is important to reach customers and future partners in settings such as InfoComm.”
What trends are you expecting to see at the show?
“We are most excited to discuss AV-over-IP technology and the convergence of AV and IT. Last year, it seemed there was a lot of interest in these subjects, so it will be great to dive in even deeper. AV-over-IP technologies offer control room operators the flexibility they need to access many sources of data and streams while continuously monitoring what is happening live.”
How do you differentiate yourself from other exhibitors in the industry?
“We’re excited that for our first year exhibiting at InfoComm we will be in the Trailblazer section of the convention, which spotlights first-timers showcasing innovative products. AVenue is changing the game in control rooms with its recording, playback and DVR capabilities. It gives control room operators everything they need to keep up in mission-critical environments. “
Do you have any tips for visitors to your booth to make the most of their interaction? For example, any questions to ask or features to explore?
We know how overwhelming huge shows can be and while many exhibitors might be flexing their newest features, it’s important to really keep in mind your needs and not get distracted by shiny screens. We will be running demos every day of the convention to showcase the features of AVenue. We hope we can set the scene for attendees and show them the variety of use cases in which AVenue can make a positive impact. Chief Technology Officer Ray May will also be on a panel Thursday morning at InfoComm, talking about how the convergence of AV and IT has changed the landscape of video wall deployments across the industry.
