Top architect firm chooses Nureva audio conferencing systems

Calgary, Alberta — July 8, 2019 — Nureva Inc., an award-winning collaboration solutions company, announces that WRNS Studio, America’s number one architecture firm in 2018 – as chosen by Architect magazine – has picked Nureva’s HDL300 audio conferencing system for 10 of its conference rooms. Frustrated with the poor audio pickup provided by its legacy systems, WRNS Studio chose the HDL300 because it allows everyone to be heard in meetings. This supports vital communication and collaboration with international clients and among the offices in San Francisco, Seattle, Honolulu and New York. As an architecture firm, aesthetics are also very important. The HDL300 system’s clean lines, wall-mounted design and black and white color options were very appealing to the WRNS Studio design team members and not something they found in other systems.

The HDL300 system features true full-room pickup and continuous autocalibration that automatically accommodates any room configuration. This ideally suits the needs of WRNS Studio, which has a variety of meeting room types, from a lounge-style room with couches to a traditional boardroom, a room with a large round table and even a room with retractable walls to allow for larger meetings. The HDL300 works well in all scenarios, prompting immediate positive feedback from the firm’s partners and staff on the quality of the audio and how easy it is to start meetings. The IT staff also report getting far fewer audio-related service tickets.

“We were looking for a system that would provide clean and crisp audio quality that was able to pick up anyone in the room and even pick up cross-talk between people,” said Chris Niewiarowski, WRNS Studio’s IT director. “The HDL300 fit the bill in each of our rooms. We’re very happy – I’m honestly not sure how you could make it better.”

“Nureva’s high-quality audio along with our video conferencing brings us together like never before,” said Jason Halaby, WRNS Studio senior associate, architect and BIM manager. “As we are committed to sustainability in our projects, we also look for ways to reduce the carbon footprint in our own practice by reducing travel. Now with Nureva’s system in all our conference rooms, we can reduce travel without sacrificing connectivity and collaboration.”

“Audio performance comes first for most of our customers, but aesthetics are also very important to companies like WRNS Studio,” said Nancy Knowlton, Nureva’s CEO. “Our customers like that we designed the HDL300 to hang out of the way on the wall and that its sleek design is available in two colors to complement a wide range of looks.”
