Barco Residential is taking aim at the super-high-end of the market with its line of home cinema products. But, they also see projection being used in other places in the home — specifically the home office. The company’s concept is catching on as residential contractors are looking for a differentiator to just doing home theater and whole house audio systems. Barco is banking that its high-end reputation for products and technology as well as its success putting projectors into thousands of movie theaters all over the world — and it seems to be paying off as the booth was packed when I stopped by.
