The Passing of Jeffrey E. Bollinger

The AV industry is mourning the passing of AV veteran Jeffrey E. Bollinger. He was the Director of Audio Visual and Sound System Design at Acentech, Inc. of Cambridge, MA (formerly Bolt, Beranek, and Newman, Inc.) where he had worked for the past 32 years. He was a member of the Acoustical Society of America and The Audio Engineering Society.

“Jeff was my boss for many years, and a good guy,” Brian Huff, CTS-D of Acentech told rAVe. “Many folks in the industry knew him and are very upset about it.”
Bollinger was 53 when he passed away in Harvard, Mass. He had been battling a malignant brain tumor for the past couple of years.

He was the husband of Lorrie Bollinger, and father of Julie and Ian Bollinger. He was the son of Dr. Lowell M. Bollinger and the late Margaret Jeffries Bollinger. He is also survived by his sisters Priscilla and Lesley Bollinger.
