A new survey by TFCinfo indicates that 60% of the 345,000 U.S. churches are looking to purchase and expand upon their projection systems. The findings are in the research company’s new report: “TFCinfo: The Use of Projectors in American Churches 2006” co-sponsored by Church Production Magazine.
900 church representatives responsible for AV purchases were surveyed. Research results are provided in total, by church size (seat size), and geographic location (Northeast, South, West, and Midwest).
The recurring study tracks equipment brand preference and the importance with which churches view name brand during their purchase process. This research shows that more than half of all respondents (61%) said that brand was “extremely” or “very” important to them in their purchasing process. Some top tier winners from these areas include: Sony, Panasonic, Sanyo, Eiki, Canon, Epson, Sharp, and InFocus.
