Behind the Stand at ISE 2025: An Interview With Telycam’s Jenny Liu
THIS IS A PROMOTED POST
Welcome to this series highlighting some of the manufacturers and brands that will be featured on the show floor at ISE 2025. As we gear up for the event, we wanted to share a preview of what these companies are bringing to the table — from new products to insights about their focus for the show. These conversations offer a closer look at what you can expect and a chance to get to know the people behind the brands before the doors open in Barcelona. This interview is with Telycam’s Jenny Liu, co-founder and head of sales and marketing.
Q: Why is Telycam exhibiting at ISE this year?
A: Telycam is exhibiting at ISE this year to showcase our latest innovations to AV professionals and integrators — our Explore advanced PTZ camera with a 1-inch sensor and phase detection auto-focus (PDAF); and our feature-rich new Vision+ 4KZ box camera.
As the industry continues to embrace AV-over-IP, cloud-based workflows and AR/VR, we’re excited to showcase how our products and features (including support for NDI and the FreeD protocol) are helping AV professionals stay ahead of these trends. ISE provides a great platform for us to connect with customers and partners, explore new opportunities, and gather valuable feedback to shape our future innovations. We’re committed to delivering practical, high-performance solutions that drive efficiency and creativity across a wide range of applications, from live streaming to education and corporate communications.
Q: What trends do you think we’ll see on the show floor and how is your company positioned to capitalize on these opportunities?
At the upcoming show, we expect to see continued buzz around key trends like cloud solutions, remote production, and the ongoing evolution from baseband AV signals to IP media transport including NDI and IPMX. AV over IP is particularly relevant to us, as NDI is one of the market leaders, and with the upcoming release of NDI 6, we see great potential in breaking the limitations of LAN-based live production and distribution. We’re also closely monitoring emerging technologies like IPMX to ensure we’re ready to integrate the most practical and effective solutions.
Another major trend is the growth of VR/AR video production, which is becoming more prevalent in use cases ranging from e-sports to corporate training. Telycam has been ahead of the curve, supporting the FreeD protocol – which transmits precise camera positioning data for seamless integration with VR/AR and graphics systems – in our PTZ cameras since 2023.
Of course, AI is also making a significant impact, particularly in automation, real-time analytics, and content creation. We’re excited about these advances and look forward to demonstrating our AI-enhanced capabilities such as auto-tracking.
Q: What new products or solutions are you showcasing at ISE and how do they address current industry challenges?
We are excited to showcase two groundbreaking solutions at ISE this year. First, our Explore PTZ camera is making its ISE debut. Explore is designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality, multi-functional production equipment. It features a 1-inch, 9MP CMOS sensor and 20x optical zoom, and is equipped with PDAF technology that ensures sharp automatic focus even during fast-moving scenes. It delivers UHD video over flexible connectivity including 12G-SDI (with genlock), HDMI, NDI High Bandwidth, and NDI HX simultaneously. It also supports Brainstorm-certified FreeD for AR/VR production, AI-powered auto-tracking, recording, and XLR audio with phantom power.
Second, we’re launching a new box camera – the Vision+ 4KZ. For those who trust the quality of Telycam PTZ cameras but don’t need pan and tilt for their typical applications, we designed the Vision+ 4KZ in direct response to their feedback. This reliable, cost-effective camera features 20x optical zoom and supports both HDMI and NDI HX3 video transmission. A handy side panel displays key image parameters and the camera’s IP address for intuitive operation. Additionally, it offers internal recording, XLR inputs with phantom power, and auto-framing capabilities, giving you greater flexibility in a variety of shooting scenarios.
These new products address industry challenges by offering high performance and versatility in a market that increasingly demands multimedia-rich, live production solutions. The Explore PTZ camera’s multiple-output capability and AI-driven features meet the needs for seamless integration and real-time content creation, while the new box camera provides a cost-effective alternative for projects that require excellent video quality but don’t need PTZ movement.
Q: How is your company expanding its global presence besides exhibiting at ISE 2025?
In addition to exhibiting at ISE 2025, Telycam is expanding its global presence through strategic partnerships, growing our network of authorized channel partners, and active participation in other key industry events like InfoComm and NAB. Like ISE, these exhibitions allow us to showcase our latest innovations and connect with customers across various sectors, including education, corporate, and broadcast.
We are further strengthening our global reach by collaborating with regional partners to offer localized support and solutions. By attending top industry events and expanding our partner ecosystem, we are broadening our global footprint and enhancing the support we provide to customers worldwide.
Telycam is also focused on continuous R&D investment, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Meanwhile, our commitment to cutting-edge technologies such as NDI and FreeD addresses the evolving needs of AV market and industries like live streaming, AR, and VR.
Q: Why should ISE 2025 attendees visit your booth?
We offer the quality of top premium brands at prices competitive with cost-focused brands. We invite attendees to visit our booth to check out our image quality firsthand!
While the Telycam name may be new to many, we’ve been in the market for over a decade, serving as the OEM supplier for some of the most well-known industry brands. We place a strong emphasis on R&D, designing and building our own cameras from the ground up, and we are quick to adopt the latest technologies that make an impact on the AV market. For example, you can see our integration into AR & VR workflows in action with our new Explore camera in a greenscreen environment in our booth. Last but certainly not least, we listen closely to our users and turn their needs into reality.
