Madison, WI – TechLogix Networx is expanding their Media over Fiber Optics™ line with the launch of the TL-FO2-HDC2, a compact extender set which transmits native, uncompressed HDMI and bi-directional control up to 300 meters over duplex multimode fiber.

“We’re excited to introduce the TL-FO2-HDC2,” states TechLogix CTO, Christopher Melendy. “Integrators are increasingly turning toward fiber for AV signal distribution and until now the electronics have been hard to find or very expensive.”

The extender set supports HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2, HDR, multichannel audio, audio return channel (ARC), bi-directional IR, and bi-directional RS232 signals, and signal transmission is completely immune to EM and RF interference, an issue which limits traditional twisted pair products.
