Partnering with Capitol, the leading consumer electronics distribution source for residential systems and light commercial contractors as well as premium incentive resellers, TCL’s award-winning 4K TVs will share the spotlight with other connected home products in their booth September 15–17, in Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Dallas, TX.

“We are thrilled to highlight TCL’s 4K Roku TVs at CEDIA 2016 – the world’s premier showcase for home technology,” said Chris Larson, vice president, sales and marketing, TCL. “Making our debut at the show is a huge testament to the high caliber product TCL offers consumers who are seeking a savvy entertainment experience. Our premium model offers a unique enhanced remote that differentiates us from other smart televisions and easy access to 3,000 streaming channels, including 350,000 movies and TV episodes.”

Video will be one of the most prevalent categories in Capitol’s booth, with TCL bringing their latest Ultra HD models to the show floor. TCL’s UP130 series will offer the ultimate TCL 4K TV experience, adding an enhanced remote with headphone jack for private listening, voice search and Remote Finder. The UP130 series is available in 43” (43UP130, $499.99), 50” (50UP130, $599.99), and 55” (55UP130, $699.99) screen sizes.

“Out of the gate, TCL boasts a line of products that is deep and diverse,” said Capitol’s president and CFO, Curt Hayes. “They’re taking an aggressive and highly focused move into the North American market, and we’re happy to bring them into the fold.”

All TCL 4K TV models include a powerful quad-core processor and feature Ultra HD picture quality with more than eight million pixels for enhanced clarity and detail. The new TVs also include the proprietary TCL Creative Pro 4K UHD Upscaling Engine, which allows consumers to view 1080p HD content in near 4K quality.

Discovering 4K content is fast and easy with Roku’s 4K Spotlight Channel. The channel features a curated selection of great 4K content from a variety of popular streaming channels and is updated with new content on a regular basis. A 4K UHD category is also included to enable consumers to access nearly a dozen streaming services that offer 4K entertainment including Amazon Video, Netflix, VUDU, YouTube, UltraFlix and more. Additional streaming services offering 4K content are expected to be added in the future.

The 4K TCL Roku TV models feature a personalized Home Screen that places streaming channels alongside consumers’ other TV entertainment choices, such as a game console, cable box or Blu-ray player. Consumers no longer have to navigate complicated menus or cycle through inputs to switch between their favorite entertainment. Additionally, TCL integrated dual-band Wi-Fi and Ethernet for blazing fast streaming performance in the UP130 models as well as four HDMI 2.0 inputs, including the latest HDCP 2.2 standard, to easily watch Ultra HD content from the newest UHD Blu-ray players and future devices.
