SurgeX Will Demo Surge Elimination Technology And Advanced Analytics Software at CEDIA 2016

SURGEX-XR-315-0816AMETEK Electronic Systems Protection will showcase recent advancements to its SurgeX UPS lineup, diagnostic, and analysis solutions, and demonstrate its patented Advanced Series Mode surge elimination technology at CEDIA Expo 2016 booth #1914.

Integrators attending the show are invited to visit the booth for a demo of the surge elimination technology. Advanced Series Mode surge elimination technology is non-sacrificial and eliminates surge energy up to 6,000 volts without harmful side effects, such as ground contamination or common-mode disturbances. This proprietary technology protects A/V equipment from power disturbances that can radically degrade sound quality and digital performance, providing pure sound and clear video for an overall better A/V experience.

New to CEDIA 2016, attendees can learn more about advancements to the SurgeX UPS lineup offering true sinewave output, controllable receptacles, and hot swappable-user replacement battery trays. Integrators can learn more about Expert Manager, a new analytics tool that has been added to the standard Envision diagnostic intelligence software. Expert Manager provides analysis of a complex array of power-related data and has the ability to translate that data instantly into reports that pinpoint problems and offer solutions to solve them.

“The benefits provided to our customers come not only from our ability to provide complete power protection at the device level, but also from our ability to quickly analyze and diagnose the electrical environment of the equipment being safeguarded,” says Jimmy Paschke, Manager, residential sales for AMETEK Electronic Systems Protection.

“We’re here to help CEDIA integrators learn more about how to minimize downtime and repairs, and how to best protect their customer’s home theater, automation, and networking equipment with the most-advanced solutions available.”

AMETEK Electronic Systems Protection will discuss and demonstrate the benefits of the SurgeX Advanced Series Mode surge elimination technology, September 15-17, 2016 at CEDIA 2016, Booth 1914.
