Stewart Filmscreen Has New Commercial Projector Screens at InfoComm

Stewart Filmscreen is celebrating 70 Years of Innovation at InfoComm 2017 by showcasing a comprehensive lineup of new projection screen technologies.

During InfoComm17, Stewart Filmscreen will demonstrate the award-winning Phantom HALR High Ambient Light Rejection Screen, innovative Globe and Hemisphere Multi-touch Interactive Spherical Screen Solutions, new Jumbo ElectriScreens, and fixed frame screen systems to serve a wide range of commercial applications.

“This year, Stewart Filmscreen not only celebrates 70 Years of Innovation, but also key areas of the company’s legendary history. That’s why our InfoComm17 demonstrations will be focused on new, jumbo-sized solutions and sleek, contemporary options, as well as some of the more complex optical coating offerings that Stewart is known for, like interactive, multi-touch surfaces for venues, theme parks, and other applications,” says Shannon Townley, CEO of Stewart Filmscreen. “We’re proud of our heritage and are honored to be in a position to look back at 70 years of creating the technology that sets the industry standard, and invite InfoComm attendees to come see the new and exciting solutions we’re bringing to the show.”

Stewart claims, where other screens leave off in their ability to reject ambient light, the (pay-for-play award-winning) Phantom HALR High Ambient Light Rejection Screen is just getting started. In real world applications, light does not come from directly above. Phantom goes beyond other ambient light rejection screens by combating multi-directional light for increased performance in bright environments. Stewart, a vertically integrated manufacturer, produces film screen materials and optical coatings in-house in Torrance, California, and uniquely engineers each optical coating, to maintain rigid, ISO-certified production procedures and quality control.

Stewart Filmscreen goes large! Now available in seamless sizes up to 40 by 90 feet. No other screen manufacturer can come close!  Phantom can be rolled for motorized screen configurations and perforated for acoustic transparency. Phantom is also UHD and HDR ready, making it virtually future-proof to accommodate advances in resolution and consumer demand.

Stewart Filmscreen’s exhibit will also showcase interactive, multi-touch, spherical displays in conjunction with partner Pufferfish, a company that specializes in spherical projection systems using Stewart optical coatings. With decades of experience manufacturing optical coatings for front and rear projection applications, Stewart has been at the forefront of the interactive globe and hemisphere system development since 1947. InfoComm attendees are invited to come experience these complex and innovative spherical screen solutions at booth #3121.

Those visiting InfoComm can see Stewart Filmscreen’s new Cascade ElectriScreen at booth #3121. The Cascade ElectriScreen takes over where the ever popular, Torrent can’t go! This large-venue ElectriScreen system — designed with corporate campuses, educational institutions, high-rises, and houses of worship in mind — gives installers and consultants the option of an elegant recessed roller screen. Designed and engineered to fit tight spaces, Cascade will make your next installation a thing of ease and beauty! Also making its debut is Stewart Filmscreen’s new Balόn Borderless screen, which provides a seemingly “floating” look that only a true borderless frame, can offer! This new design is aesthetically pleasing to any viewing environment.

Revealed for the first time to an international audience at ISE 2017, the FIDELEDY Vision 40 diffusion material and screen system represents the Next Generation of LED video wall image enhancements. FIDELEDY is perfectly suited for indoor, high-ambient light applications where a lower transmission level and improved contrast ratio is required to deliver a powerfully uniform image fidelity — especially in digital signage and broadcast applications. Set designers, stage managers, consultants and AV integrators, alike, love the shallow depth and bright images of LED video walls. The FIDELEDY Vision 40 LED enhancement system makes viewing even better by eliminating distracting moiré interference. We enjoy collaborating with our partners at InfoComm. Stop by booth #1600 to see our FIDELEDY screens in the NEC exhibit.
