Earlier this year, start-up Stem Audio launched a UCC-based audio ecosystem for conference rooms and meeting rooms that uses an app-based design tool, called RoomDesign, to specify and calibrate the placement of their combo- mic and speaker sets (for table-top, ceiling or on-wall configurations) — to cover an entire room. In fact, we shot a video of it at InfoComm that explains Stem Audio RoomDesign here:
Today, Stem Audio announced availability of the web version of RoomDesign so that integrators and customers can start to use it to design rooms. The Stem RoomDesign tool allows anyone to design and spec a room directly on the Stem website. The entire system is network-based and will likely appeal to both AV and IT pros since it’s solely focused on addressing the need for better-quality audio in UCC spaces.
You can actually play around with the Stem Audio RoomDesign application here.
Users and integrators can use it to create own room designs and save their design as a PDF file for future use. Stem also allows you to pre-order the gear for a Q1 2020 delivery, as well.
