Stealth Acoustics Updates Invisible Speaker Line
At ISE 2011, Stealth Acoustics announced updates to its FX and AX invisible speaker lines that the company says offers enhanced fidelity, high-frequency smoothness and bass performance over the previous models.
The new LinearResponse (LR) Series of invisible in-wall or in-ceiling speakers incorporate all-new face-panels that create a flatter front surface area, effectively eliminating the need for plaster or fill materials prior to final wall finishing. The new versions also provide, according to Stealth, a warmer-sounding high frequency response and more bass output.
Additionally, Stealth released a new model 8400 8-channel amp with DSP-based optimization for Stealth’s speakers. Intended for whole house, zone or home theater audio applications, this 80-watt-per-channel amplifier offers adjacent bridging and IR control.
