SpeakerCraft to Still Host “Shots in the Dark” at Expo

SpeakerCraft will co-host CEDIA’s tradition of after hours shots with Sam and Lori Runco. In partnership with Monster Cable, SpeakerCraft will co-host the celebration Friday, September 9, 2011, between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. in the Cosmopolitan Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis.

Since the dawn of CEDIA, immediately following the awards banquet, Runco had routinely hosted shots for everyone who attended CEDIA Expo. This year however, with the show ending Saturday instead of Sunday, “Shots in the Dark” will be held on Friday, the day before the banquet, which is still scheduled for its traditional Saturday night.

Jeremy Burkhardt, president of SpeakerCraft said, “We want to make sure the tradition lives on, long after the sale of Runco took place. With Expo 2011 ending a day early, we were concerned that many people would leave town and miss the fun. With that in mind, we decided to host the party Friday night instead. By doing this, dealers are sure to have a good time at the show. This celebration is just one way we want to show our appreciation for our dealers hard work and support.”
