SoundTube Entertainment is now shipping its new Dante/AES67 IP-enabled PoE in-ceiling speaker, the IPD-CM62-BGM-II-US, designed to meet the requirements of the Buy American Act (BAA) and Trade Agreements Act (TAA).

First announced at InfoComm 2024, the speaker is part of SoundTube’s broader initiative to offer U.S.-compliant audio products for government and other federally funded projects. The product is available through authorized SoundTube dealers and distributors.

The IPD-CM62-BGM-II-US features a 6.5-inch coaxial woofer with a 1-inch silk dome tweeter and incorporates the company’s BroadBeam Ring technology. A tuned port on the baffle enhances off-axis performance, providing mid-range clarity and bass response down to 60 Hz (-10 dB).

Audio, power and control are delivered via a standard category cable, supporting low-latency digital audio over Dante and AES67 networks. The commercial-grade speaker requires a 10.5-inch cutout and has an overall diameter of 11.75 inches when installed. It comes in a lime green enclosure for installation visibility.

SoundTube said the speaker is built to address commercial AV needs in environments that demand both performance and compliance with U.S. sourcing regulations.
