Sony’s InfoComm Booth is All About 8K (& Digital Signage)
Sony will take to booth 2200 at next week’s InfoComm show with two demos of 8K resolution displays – one using a curved CLEDIS (the mind-blowing LED technology they showed at InfoComm last year and won our Best of InfoComm 2016 award with) and the other made from Sony’s new laser projector line. I was joined on today’s videocast by Sander Phipps, Sony’s Senior Product Manager, who explained how Son’y core-DNA isn’t products as much as it is all about image quality and image processing. He’s right — thats what Sony’s known for.
Sony’s booth this year at InfoComm will be applications-oriented and will also feature their focus on digital signage with the new BRAVIA Pro line of Android-based signage systems (with embedded signage players) as well as their new higher-education focused product called Vision Exchange — a collaboration system designed specifically for universities.
I hope you enjoy my discussion with Sander and put them on your booth-stop plans! Sony’s InfoComm Microsite is here.
